While the middle class is seeing a rise in illegitimacy, 59 percent of all American births are within marriage. Indeed, it is college graduates and the upper class which have been able to stay within the bounds of tradition and marry prior to reproducing, The Times reported.

A number of factors have led the the rising numbers of illegitimacy — which most researchers agree increases a child’s risk of emotional problems and falling into poverty — including, as The Times noted, economic factors that have thinned the number of available, marriageable men; a larger social safety net; and a more promiscuous society.

Outside of the educational differences, there are distinct differences in the marriage rates between different races: 29 percent of white children are born to unmarried women, 53 percent of Latinos and 73 percent of black children

I think the second paragraph is the standard for most countries, isnt it? The problem with this country is that race and socio-economic status are bound. If you're white, you have a good chance to move up on the socio-economic ladder, if you're hispanic, you have an ok chance, and if you're black, you have a poor chance of attaining anything beyond the bottom wrung. So blacks can't find decent employment and therefore climb the ladder out of the lower class because those with the ability to hire or promote have an aversion towards blacks based on arbitrary stereotypes, and then blacks, as a result, fall victim to behaviors associated with the lower class, then that would mean those with the ability to hire and promote are generating reasons not to hire blacks. Capitalism always finds a way to work its magic

IMO mutual aid is natural from both a moral and a evolutionary perspective. We should take responsibility for each other, the people who try to promote ideas to the contrary tend to be in postitions of power and/or excessive wealth

I beg to differ on that one,for one have you noticed our president is black? I cant get a job but chinese restaurants where no one speaks a lick of english trump mcdonalds in U.S.... how the fuck do they own a business,I cant buy paper to wipe my ass.There is also survival of the fittest... literally and it does not matter what ethnic background you stem from. I wonder sometimes to my self is there anyone thats prejudice anymore or, a system that will swing one way or the other because of the color of your skin? Of course there is always this confederate loving redneck that hates everyone but soon racism will be a thing of the past and our children will only learn about it in school. We live in different times and if I were to say anything it is affirmative action that has gotten carried away.I may not get a job because the employer was afraid to hire me over the minority,but thats the system. He may have also been the better man for the job or promotion which soon will be the only scenario.Its everywhere, when is the last time you filled an application out that didnt want to know about your ethnicity?My point is they are doing it one way or another and if they are "moving on up to the east side" thats because they did it better.There is a ton of actors, lawyers, principles, athletes, CEO's, you name it there doing it and doing it because they just did it better.There is too many factors to decide why they minorities are doing fine,also can rant why they do bad we just dont see it, thats with anything though.Soon minorities will out number whites and these numbers will change for this economic statistic.Except asians wont be apart of the equation though cause they own all the fuckin chinese restaurants.
