for some reason people think he was an amazing guitarist, i think it has just to do with pantera's (undeserved) popularity. their best albums are the heavy metal/glam ones from the 80s anyway which they (the band) claim don't exist

This was a tragedy. It goes to show that regular people can reach a new level and find themselves becoming increasingly fucking hostile and no good can come of it. One day they live in hole, the next day they walk to the Alrosa Villa and rise up onto the stage, sending one man on his course through the cemetary gates, and leaving the fellow bandmates chances of future success shattered....had the suspect not been slaughtered, he may have got 25 years in the clink. If only he left a suicide note, we could have caught a glimpse of his hollow soul. |
