Re: 911 Audio After Mother Beheads Infant Daughter
That was a typo, my bad. I meant 911 responder because she's being a bitch to the victims family. |

Re: 911 Audio After Mother Beheads Infant Daughter
The dispatcher was doing her job. All of the information relayed in a 911 call becomes relevant to the investigation. What would be the point of the dispatcher openly sympathizing with the situation? They're not crisis counselors; they're relayers and recorders of information, and everyone is best served by them gathering as much information about a situation as possible within the first moments of an emergency.

Re: 911 Audio After Mother Beheads Infant Daughter
Im sorry but you really dont know what you are talking about. If you have ever been trained to answer 911 calls you would understand more of what the operator is trying to do. Most cases use the 911 call as the first piece of evidence. Also, sad to say, there are a lot of prank calls, but that is not the case here. The operator needs to fully understand the situation in order to send the appropriate responders and it is the operators duty to try and leave all emotion out of the fact finding call. Put yourself in her shoes, you get a call with very horrific yet limited details. She needs to make sure she fully understands the situation. Many people walking in on a scene of someone hurt or dying will freak out and leave the victim without really checking for vital signs. I can go into further details but I really hope this is enough for you to give others the benefit of the doubt (especially in a situation you are not familiar) and not rush to judgement. Please consider this in the future, thanks...
