Escalators are dangerous. I was almost eaten by one. I had on a pair of Crocs. My right shoe got caught up in the side, right when the escalator was near the bottom. Being the fast thinker that I am, I got my foot out of my shoe before the bottom. At the bottom, I had to pull the Croc out. The damn escaltor took a bite off it. I was laughing hard at the time, but holy shit, I could have lost a toe.
