Re: American Hummer Hitting Civilian Cars In Iraq
I can't tell if you guys are being sarcastic or what. First, you don't know the mission of the driver. He could be transporting a patient. Notice he was going pretty fast. It is fairly safe to say that he was not part of a convoy. I think I'd choose getting a wounded person to safety over your 1974 sedan any day of the week. |

Re: American Hummer Hitting Civilian Cars In Iraq
This is normal for American forces operating in Iraq. They cannot afford to slow down or stop because that's when they get shot at or blown up. It's a common tactic to try to block a military vehicle and then detonate an IED or a car bomb. As long as they keep moving at a decent speed, they're less of a target. This protects not only them, but the Iraqi civilians around them, and the Iraqis know it. That's why the Iraqis who were paying attention got out of the way without being nudged. They know to make way for the military vehicles. It's not a matter of Americans "doing whatever they want" or being "pigs". They're trying to protect themselves and the Iraqi civilians. |

What arseholes. They're not even in their own country - how can they act with such disrespect? Those poor fuckers can barely afford those cars and these pricks are driving around denting them. |

Re: American Hummer Hitting Civilian Cars In Iraq
Fuck that, it's not like he rammed em off the road. If you didn't notice in the background the humvee's horn was going pretty much the entire time. The civilians were lucky he wasn't in a bradley or an 1068. The tracked vehicles are much larger. Plus if all of you know most of the american forces are pulling out at the end of 2011 anyways. Plus if we weren't there who was going to teach the iraqi people to defend themselves? your talking about us being pigs? We don't cut peoples heads off as scare tactics. BTW Humvee is overrated. They coulda done alot better job to em. But they can 4x4 like a sob. |
