Re: Work Place Explosion
Likely a low-level of combustible fluid.. but the fumes & pressure probably caused the reaction-explosion. |

Re: Work Place Explosion
Yep. These are common accidents where you see a person welding on an oil drum and “Ka-Boom”… no more welding.. or welder… |

Re: Work Place Explosion
Drums have two openings called bungs. One on top and a smaller one on bottom. Usually just a drum wrench is needed. Taking a MIG welder to a container holding a substance with a flashpoint lower than what your working with is what’s stupid. |

Normally I'd fuck your post off for inserting stupid politics into a death thread... but this time it's for your all caps.

Re: Work Place Explosion
Putin seems to be doing this to his buddies on a regular basis. They are even claiming the car bombing of the chick was by the FSB.

Re: Work Place Explosion
Yes, but there is a special bronze wrench (oddly enough, called a "bung wrench") made to open the bungs with. It fits in them, and the bronze is non-sparking, so if it slips, it doesn't blow you up. You do that later, when you use a torch on them. |
