Thanks TSoprano007, as you pointed out, it was a crime of opportunity.
The lady with the broom, stood around waiting in the same spot, saw the victim get to work, then stopped supposedly sweeping, & walked right over to turn on the machine, making it look like an accident.
~ I bet that isn't even her job to be at that machine at all, just to sweep.

While it appears at face value to be intentional, I don’t think it was.
If you look at the machine on the far left you can see that these mixers raise up so you can access the underside.
It seems more plausible to me that the victim asked the other lady to come over and raise the machine for her. Wanting to be helpful, she obliged and pushed the wrong button.
