Woman Suffering from Postpartum Depression Jumps from High-rise Balcony
In Grozny, Chechnya, a 31-year-old mother jumps from a balcony due to a severe nervous breakdown linked to postpartum depression. The woman was on maternity leave. Feports indicate that she was profoundly struggling to cope with the daily care of her 3-month-old infant. She succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. |

If you listen closely you can hear her crash land on the car. Some people are just born without a pair or without good coping skills. In her case both. |

Re: Woman Suffering from Postpartum Depression Jumps from High-rise Balcony
Any woman can suffer from this and the level of impact can obviously be extreme and long lasting because it can trigger mental illness i c l uding addiction. The pressure to cope can seem unchallengeable. All women need to be constantly checked on by friends and carers in those early months or even years. Get help. You won't always feel this way.
