Re: ~Whistling While He Works~

He is cutting the body as if he is making meat cuts for a butcher shop.

The stew does taste different out there.

Re: ~Whistling While He Works~

Ppl commenting on the knife—

Knife is likely a smaller kukri-style blade.
Id guess 5160carbon steel.. or something similar.
They sharpen well and take a beating!

Anyone looking to get something for casual edc,
Amazon, bladehq and SMKW offer many affordable blades for anyone who is a beginner. (intermediate and advanced also, of course)
Ive been collecting for years. Them knives be addictive!

Check your local laws before buying flipper-style knives, gravity knives, automatics, etc!
Also chk for blade length maximum restrictions.
Also been collecting for years so commenting in case someone sees your comment and doesn’t want to waste money from this bs.
I don’t wanna be one of “those” guys but if you pause @ 10 seconds you can clearly see there isn’t a single kukri blade.
Looks like some cleavers and either Bowie style blades or filet knives. You should know what a kukri looks like if you know anything about knives - not a single one looks anything like a kukri.

And I guarantee somebody needing a knife for that kind of use isn’t using a high carbon steel knife due to how easily they rust.
Who knows what kind of steel it is, different makers have different preferences. But for this use the butcher would absolutely be using a stainless steel.

And if you look back thru the thread,
MrAssthetic, you can see where another member brought my mistake to my attention.
You would also see where i explained i missed the blade style, admittedly.
I am not a younger person, as many of you are..
especially newbs like you.
My vision is BAD. I was not wearing my glasses when i first watched the vid!
When re-watching, with specs, i agreed that i did not see correctly the blade shape. I was corrected, and agreed with that.

As for the steel type, ppl all over the World use MANY diff types of steel, for many diff reasons.
An expert like yourself, in all of your
CUTLERY GODLIKE KNOWLEDGE,
would know that simple blade maintenance is required... no matter using stainless or high carbon! Right??
1095, D2, O1, VG10, or whatever steel being used-
they all need to be taken care of, or they rust, dull, stain, correct, ALL KNOWING ONE??

I have a few thousand dollars worth of knives and blades of all kinds.. they are all in great shape.
I take care of my cutlery, and have plenty of
know-how about them.
But hey, thanks for your input of perfection!

I think it’s one of those Sky Funerals where the body is cut up and the vultures do the rest.

You must not know jack shit about knives at all if you think a carbon based steel rusts as easily as stainless steel. I’ve been grinding steel for over a third of my life and have stainless steel billets that I’ve forgotten about in the garage that have been outside that entire time that don’t have any rust on them. ZERO.
I forge my own damascus and have carbon steels that will turn orange the day after it rains.
It’s no comparison.
I’ve sold over 100x the value of your collection in my hand made cutlery, a lot of which to butchers and do you know what they request?
Steels with high hardness and corrosion resistance - not edge retention… because they know how to sharpen them and they know that BLOOD contains high amounts of water and iron - THE MAIN CATALYSTS OF OXIDATION!

Don’t ask yourself easy questions like do I know every steel will rust because you can’t even get that question right lol.
Do you know what causes rust?
Oxidation. That’s an easy question.
What happens when zirconium based metals or titanium based metals/steel oxidizes?
Go ahead and look it up lol.
Let’s just say there’s another thing you’re wrong about because according to you, ALL will rust… and these will NOT.

The most infuriating thing is the fact that you think stainless steels oxidize at the same rate as carbon steels is telling.
That’s a real facepalm.

Spending money on Amazon knives like you recommend doesn’t make you an expert lol. I have over $XX,XXX in firearms and that doesn’t make me an expert.
I mean you can’t even identify a filet knife and you wanna call people newbs lol.
Any 3rd grade kid that’s been on a fishing trip can identify a filet knife.

Now shut up man nobody cares about your bruised ego nor do they want to hear about your collection or any of this stupid shit anymore, we’re here for the videos.
