It's hard watching your own get shot, but in fairness, if their was an occupying force here in the US, you can bet that I would be doing the same shit.

There are no heroes in war, no matter what side you are on. If you choose a profession of death you have to accept the fact that you could die. Being able to make that choice is a luxury that not all people have. Some must fight to survive. I have all the sympathy for the innocent civilians but seeing a soldier die doesn't evoke a lot of emotions in me.
