Now thats a real "hate" crime.. to stab someone so many times. This is how hate crimes should be described. by how violent and emotionally charged the murder is. Not if someone calls you a *** and punches you in the face. or insert other derogatory (non pc) term, followed by violence.

Your idea is bad, and you don't know what you are talking about. Troy kept stabbing the negroe to make sure he was really dead and couldn't be revived. This way he won't be attacked and killed by the negroe if he gets better at a later date. To even a casual observer, Troy's stabbing is methodical and not "emotionally charged"... |
