Yea, the first responding officer should have neutralized the suspect. Precious minutes were lost trying to convince this cop killer to put his rifle down. Not sure if it would have changed the outcome, but it wouldn’t have hurt for sure. I’m sure this video has been used in the training of new officers.

If they'd shot him on arrival that young guy would probably have had a chance at survival. Shoddiest shittiest police work I HAVE EVER SEEN! I hope the young wife got COMPENSATION from them for her and her 8 month old baby. Absolutely horrific that the cops just saw an old man and wouldn't put him down. The P.O was breathing for quite a while after he was shot so he may have lived if they'd gotten to him. So much time wasted trying to talk this old psychotic man down! This made me so mad! (Tears)  |

I don't believe in all this 'colour shit' BUT.... in this case I believe it to be 'ageism!' They saw an old man. They wouldn't put an old man down. Disgusting police work. The victims child was 8 months old at the time. His life must have changed that day. I hope he and his mom got a fuck load of compensation for shoddy police work. If not... he'll be appropriately 18.5 now. Go see a lawyer dude! Because this isn't right. Get an official apology from these cops... at least! Cause they were fucking idiots! |
