Cutting is a terrible coping mechanism, but for me, it was the only thing that made me feel alive. My scars are so bad that this year I'm going to have scar removal surgery (yes, that's actually a thing. Google it.) But I stopped self-harming, and anybody out there can do it too. There is hope, and there's always a better solution :)
