I hear you. Most of it sucks pretty bad. Quite suitable for, as you say, weener touchery of all sorts. However, sometimes cheerful, lackadaisical music can be appropriate. I think though, that the original artists would be very happy to know that future kids would be listening to, and suiting their old songs to better fit in with the direction music has gone--after all this time. It's almost idolatry. Don't you think? Even if the new sounds weren't for their ears I think they would like the idea of it. |
