I don't think he deserved any pity. If killing himself was an option, then he lost his senses completely. People like him probably didn't understand the importance of having a greater source of strength than mankind's.

Not sure about the details behind this story, but this guy started throwing all his belongings out of his high-rise apartment window and yelling and causing a general riot in the area. The police were called and he then barricaded the door to his apartment by piling up furniture and belongings in front of it. You can hear the police trying to smash the door open with a battering ram while the perpetrator climbs out the window. As soon as the police break open the door and begin moving furniture away to get in, the perpetrator looks at the camera and calls out "Adios!" ('Goodbye')... then jumps. Just as he leaps off the window, a policeman appears from the rooftop... moments too late. The perpetrator falls 11 stories to his death. |
