I don't condone vigilante justice but all I'm saying is if I have been the judge back then he would' ve gotten immediate bail and time served if found guilty.

If I recall the case correctly, this man had molested other children and gotten off with little to no time in jail. This boy was one of several victims over time. The man never seemed to be brought to justice and the victim's father was sick of this. If the courts and lawyers had done what they SHOULD have done, he would never have seen the light of day again. Disgusted and sick of the failings of the court system in giving someone like this deal after deal and allowing him to be free to molest again, he took matters into his own hands and ended things definitively. I had no problem with it then and have no problem with it now. The kid was 11 years old for God's sake! While I am all for people getting a fair trial, this guy had had his fair share and needed to be stopped from getting out again to do the crime again.
