I honestly don't care about the fate of the rapist, in fact I think he got off easily - he died instantly while his victim suffered and will suffer for the rest of his life. However, I still think people should leave justice to the courts in a civilised nation... I completely understand the father though, and who knows, I'd possibly do the same in his position.  Another point, and I'm almost certain on this because I know how the Louisiana justice system works - if the father was black he'd have got a hefty prison sentence. |
