YUP! And YOU make a great point here, by drawing the contrast between humane psychological rehabilitation, and infantile circumsision (sp?) I guess I didn't hit on it before, because I grew up without a foreskin (my parents' decision, not mine). I didn't suffer any psychological trauma from it though, to my knowledge. But yeah, if I were a pedophile, I'd say "hell YES! I'll be your 'test subject!' If it means I won't be locked up in the pen for however many years with "Bubba." It does make me laugh though, all the people here who say they would have done the same. No doubt, I applaud this father's actions, but I doubt I would have done the same. It's easier to say you would have, than to actually follow through. If my child was back in my arms, my priority would have been to keep him there. I would have let the "justice" system do it's work, and if it failed me and my son (by my expectations), I would have waited til he (the rapist) was released from prison, and I would have gotten to him before he got his so-called "vengeance" on my family, for having to do whatever time he had to serve. "Time served" wouldn't compare to the rest of his life, after being castrated and incapacitated. |

I wouldve done the same thing.but not with a gun.. i would kidnapp that motherfucker . tie him up. dont give him food or water for 3-4 days. then i would break his 2 legs and arms with a baseball. then break his neck.  |

Way to go daddy! Seriously anyone who doesn't feel a desire to kill a man who raped their daughter is fucked up. Too bad the law doesn't see it this way. Poor dad will probably have to go to prison.
