qft. I've seen videos of American police doing far less than this and the page is full of insults hurled at "those fucking pigs." So in the U.S. they're pigs, but in other countries they're unquestionably justified and the prisoner always deserves the beating? |

No, they're not justified. When I said "American in philosophy", I was referring to concepts, like due process, freedom from cruel and unusual punishment, habeas corpus, etc. I see so many users on here applauding the abuse and torture of people, as long as they're alleged rapists or terrorists.
