It's the compound result of: Qualified immunity: A cop will not be held accountable regardless of his/her actions, being jusitified or not. Tactical training: "Proper police tactics" are followed to the letter to avoid losing a LEO's life. Hence shooting at the sight of a gun in the hand or a knife being wielded by someone less than 22 feet away. Cops' self perception: A LEO's life is more important than that of a civilian, even a K9's life could be considered of higher value than that of a suspect's under some circumstances. If a suspect kills a K9 he'd get a long sentence as if the dog had an almost pseudo-human life.  The gang syndrome: The pervasive US against THEM mentality that glues together the "Blue family". Ego and self importance: Being a protected person, LEOs perceive themselves as above the law and their ego turns most of them if not all into power tripping tyrants. Low I.Q. A low I.Q. is sought after in those who must obey the chain of command and not have much scruples or the capacity to reason and think for themselves. |

I don't quite understand what you are trying to say here. Well other than all that gibberish. But how does that disprove, or have any relation at all to what I posted? How can you be an American and know nothing about the police gangs in the U.S.? Or even deny them once learning of them? There is even a fucking Wikipedia page for them. The LE killing gangs brought a federal investigation in California, that for all I know is still active?. I didn't say any of those things you said happened. You are one American, just one, along side 332 million others so how can you assure that nothing happens because it hasn't happened to you? It's a big world out there and I'm an American too... Obviously a more educated one.  |

Until then fill your house with mannequins filled with tannerite and scrap metal and pointing replica guns at all entry wayd and halls. Keep them at human body temperature with water heating loops.
