I'm willing to gamble that the guy is already dead when that video was made. The director/actor just had to include the act of stabbing in the video.

It is well known that he killed him prior to the stabbing in the video. The video was edited my Magnotta and then uploaded. The police or whoever has the full tape with the actual murder on tape, but it has never been released.
