Also the slicing of the back and thighs looks real. If doing this post-mortem there would be none or little blood coming out of wounds inflicted.

I'm with you, if it is a fake its the best fake I've ever seen.... The only part I'm not sure about is there is a cut scene between when we last see the guy move, and the guy being stabbed.
