The pilot of the jet ski that struck and killed a tourist on Saturday the 15th of January 2011, was identified as Michael Wagner Araujo Galvão.

He had been arrested in 2009 for drug trafficking.

At that time, Michael Wagner, who is also known as "Brand new Gas", was accused of joining a gang that ran the drug trade in Extremoz and earned R $ 100 thousand per month.

The accused reported himself at the police station of the Northern Zone, immediately after the jet-ski accident, telling he was the pilot of the jet ski.

Marques Maria Lamb, 47, was hit in the head and had severe head trauma.
She later on died in the hospital of Ceará-Mirim.

Michael Wagner was heard and released by police.
