Re: Indian Man Killed Himself with Pistol While Making Video
Fake, or an obvious suicide? I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned that maybe the guy was actually attempting to kill himself. I mean, he cocked a gun, pointed it directly at his heart, and pulled the trigger. It's not exactly "I want to keep living" behavior, regardless of the video background. |

He shot himself point blank in the chest with what appears to be a .45 caliber weapon. Who in their right mind DOESNT expect him to immediately fall down? Is he supposed to grab his chest and stumble around for 30 seconds like in the movies? I don’t think so.

Re: Indian Man Killed Himself with Pistol While Making Video
He’s here. Let’s just enjoy his death in celebration for a new posting with a very likely “True Story” behind it. He was a fool but we see a lot of fools from India killing themselves in all kind of stupid ways. I’d say there’s quite a few people there that are at least as smart as the cows they worship. |

Re: Indian Man Killed Himself with Pistol While Making Video
You’re right about the head thing, but what makes somebody immediately drop is the hydrostatic shock from the bullet expanding and severing your spinal cord. This is actually why you hear so many stories about stray bullets paralyzing people: a bullet only needs to hit near enough for its expansion to ‘drop’ or ‘stop you’ Those ballistic gel tests are also used to test the effectiveness of this trauma. If you’ve ever heard the term stopping power, it’s actually a literal term as it’s in reference to this. Bigger bullet = bigger expansion = less precision needed to sever the spinal cord. This is the biggest reason why people should not be using anything less than 9mm for self Defense, and why I will always go for a shotgun for home defense. All bullets can kill, but their ability to drop you differ greatly. :^} In this instance, he shot himself right in the chest, and definitely caused trauma to his spinal column (from the expansion). Oh, and another note is that ballistic vests are so useful at saving lives because it greatly reduces the chance of this happening. They’re better to be viewed as offensive tools than defensive, since they will keep you up in a gunfight and allow you to return fire, rather than get paralyzed and bleed out from other wounds. With a vest, unless you’re hit in the head, you’re pretty much golden since you should be able to tourniquet other wounds. |

Your blood pressure immediately drops, which can lead to unconsciousness. He would then die shortly after.
