The British passenger jumped out after a gas surge on the ground, as it took off at a rate of knots, I'm guessing the pilot did at this point too...then it took off, blew up, then came crashing down...the British passenger's wife was amongst the dead... Correct me if I'm wrong - just what I've heard, that's all..I'm not presenting it as fact... |

....are you one of these people who thinks you can save yourself in a head on car collision by bracing your arms against the dashboard?....how would "jumping out" 10 feet from the ground be any advantage over those in the gondola? explain

He jumped out on the way up... and was not in it when it was engulfed and floating away. Sounds like an advantage to me.  |

This is clearly the suns fault. At the 8 second mark the sun gets pissed because the assholes in the hot air balloon got in the way of the sun being recorded, stealing the suns spotlight. The sun then sets the air balloon on fire, in the hopes of turning the spotlight back on him. The suns plan backfires however, as the hot air balloon turns into a black heart at the 28 second mark making people focus even more on the hot air balloon. The heart then breaks apart and falls toward the earth symbolizing heart break. As people watch on, they are left reminiscing on past relationships and what could have been. This is a very powerful and poetic video

One of the tie ropes snagged a gas bottle valve which broke off filling the balloon with hot air, it shot up 300mtrs then burst into flames. An English tourist and the Egyptian pilot jumped from around 10ft as it shot up. The Englishman's wife went up with the balloon all remaining 19 passengers perished.
