No. Horses are prey animals, their flight instinct is very strong. If they panic, they check out mentally and they run. They will run through a fence, in front of a vehicle or whatever, you don't want to be standing in the way.

There is a huge difference between riding a saddle horse like this, and what can be reasonably categorized as abuse. This is nothing like spurring a bucking bronc in a rodeo. The horses in this video appear to be reasonably well trained. Horses are just like any other pet and enjoy appropriate training and crave attention. They have great personalities and bond with their trainers just like any other animal. Using a horse in a show like this is no different than using a horse in a movie or a tv show. It would be the same exploitation in any of those examples, if I am understanding you correctly.
