Evolution needs to give them shorter, sturdier necks.

I owned a horse once. Finally had to sell it because idiots would let it out for one reason or another. Animal control would go insane trying to catch it. They always would leave our street without the horse. One day I remember I went up the street to collect her and she was just munching grass in an empty field like nothing had happened. She would watch me and pretend she was uninterested until just as my hand would close on her halter rope and then 'swish' she would zip the rope away and trot a few feet off. She would play that game until I was exhausted. Run in circles around me just for fun. Trot by me just slow enough so I thought I had a chance to grab the rope. Once it got darker she would just stop and let me pick up the rope like it had all been some misunderstanding. Some other horses I have known were just mentally imbalanced or stupid. My horse wasn't exactly stupid but she was a pain in the ass.
