Re: Homeless Man Stabs Teenager, Who Was Walking His Dog, in the Neck

Guy's like an assassin, one hell of a clean hit not to mention.
On February 13, 2026, a judge formally denied a request by Cadavid's defense team to grant him freedom. During his initial arraignment, Cadavid pleaded not guilty to the charges of aggravated homicide multiple times.

Legal experts and prosecutors have been reviewing his mental health records. His defense has continuously looked for pathways to declare him legally unaccountable due to his advanced age and potential psychiatric conditions.

Local investigations revealed WhatsApp chat logs from neighborhood groups proving that residents had flagged Cadavid as a major public safety threat days before the murder.

He was notorious in the Villa Paula sector for threatening and throwing stones at pedestrians or shopkeepers who refused to give him money.

William de Jesús Cadavid faces a potential prison sentence of 33 to 50 years for the charge of aggravated homicide.

Because the victim was entirely defenseless and the attack was unprovoked, the prosecution pushed for the highest severity of charges.

Because Cadavid repeatedly pleaded not guilty during his formal arraignment, he is not eligible for the standard sentence reductions typically granted for early admission of guilt.

A few days prior, Cadavid had aggressively kicked Esteban's dog in the street. Esteban confronted the man to protect his pet, leading to a brief argument and when Cadavid spotted Esteban walking the dog again on August 11, he recognized them and ambushed Esteban from behind as an act of revenge for the prior confrontation.

I hope the dog is OK
The dog was unharmed and safely secured by local authorities at the scene and immediately returned to Esteban's grieving family, where it still remains.
