Re: Half of an Alleged Isis Member Still Alive After Failed Suicide Attack
Agonal breathing is a survival reflex triggered by the brain and can increase the chances of survival for someone in cardiac arrest. Therefore the brain is not dead, so technically he is not dead. Who's the idiot now, idiot.

Re: Half of an Alleged Isis Member Still Alive After Failed Suicide Attack
Well, since you're asking, I would have to say it's you, considering I never once used the word "idiot". The brain can be mostly destroyed and still trigger agonal respiration, with no chance of consciousness returning. Additionally, my main gripe about this post and all of the comments it comprises, is the enormous amount of people who think he said "Allah", which I addressed in a previous post. This is starting to boil down to semantics. It all depends on what one considers to be "dead". I personally consider death to be once one has lost consciousness, with no chance of return. I also consider this man to have reached that stage. Like I said though, semantics. |
