Re: This Guy Kills a Kid
There is ZERO recoil from that gun so could be fake and who is filming. Headshot victims don't tumble and roll away, they just drop, go completely limp in an instant so I'm going with fake. People only fly backwards in the movies. There have been many test to prove it. Think for every action there is an EQUAL & opposite reaction for the person getting hit to fly the person doing the shooting would also have to fly. The bullet would also have to dump all of it's energy into the victim and the more powerful rounds will pass right through and the shooter never flies anyway.

Re: This Guy Kills a Kid
I don't know. If the kid weighs like fifty pounds, and got punched wouldn't he fly backward? What if he got hit with a baseball? The puncher or thrower wouldn't fly backward. I don't really know though, but it seems like the right force could toss a small boy backward.

Re: This Guy Kills a Kid
True, but so would a 450lb behemoth with a fast enough baseball, or a hard enough punch. Past a certain speed, though, the projectile can go right through them without causing them to fly back in much the same way that a very dull knife can cut right through a person with enough speed, and force. |

Re: This Guy Kills a Kid
I watched again because of what you guys and because, even if it's fake, it's a cool video. The boy doesn't really fly backward. His butt stays in touch with the sidewalk till he rolls. The top of his little body falls backward, but he is shot and reflexes would cause him to move back at the sound of the shot. His legs rise up but that could be the effect of the shot and his backward movement and the instant disconnect of his leg nerves to his brain. I don't know, but I like puzzles. |
