MAybe but doubt he crashed into anything of importance. I guess if the sidewalk was his enemy he kinda hurt it a little. Take them weeks to get that shit out.

There is no postmortem data about the deceased(name, any disorder or medical condition, drug abuse etc)that made public yet. The firefighters tried to talk him down(thats the crane you see in the video), but the guy first threw his wallet in the river then a letter next to the medics on bridge and then he sprayed himself with a flammable substance(probably some kind of cosmetic spray as seen here:http://www.langlovagok.hu/html/galeria/4541_2.shtml), and set himself on fire. At that point the firefighters didnt even try to put the fire out. A firefighter officer, Dobson Tibor, said that they did not prepare for this scenario, because there was no precedent of someone setting oneself on fire on top of a high structure. Since they were not prepared for this, there was no water in the crane's hoses, and they didnt try to solve this, since the water stream is so strong that it would have just pushed the guy down from the statue, so they couldnt do anything. The other source (langlovagok.hu) says way less about the incident(it is a general website of hungarian firefighters). Cheers! |
