It's just their upbringing. Unlike us they grew up without the benefits of having a globalized society. They didn't have TV till 1960, even then it was broadcast in black and white up until the late 70's. Even then it was mainly an informative (locally edited) media outlet with only the basic of entertainment. When you deal with cultures whose religion is so embedded in their society this stuff just becomes standard. If they feel a death is justified, then they will claim it is justified in the eyes of their God. |
