Definitely 7.62 round. Designed to 'tumble' on entry, hence devastating exit wounds. Not like our NATO 5.56 rounds - designed to 'maim' ( they do kill too though), so it takes two of our soldiers to carry the wounded prisoner, and another to carry the wounded prisoner's kit. As my Sergeant used to say, "fill the fucker's in, and be on your merry way, even if he is screaming for his momma". Sad but true.  |
