I find it comical how anyone can say his civil rights were violated. That mother fucker lost his civil rights as soon as he had taken the path of crime, and as far as I'm concerned, there is now one less criminal to bleed our worthless justice system.

That's the downside to being a cop. You get Cry Wolfed so many times, that when a legitimate cry for help comes, you become immune to it, until it's too late. You can't afford to do that as a cop. It's easy to point the finger at someone in cuffs and say, "Fucker deserved it" but it's up to a judge and jury to determine life or death, not the cops.

Call the EMTs, let them figure out what's going on, and if he's faking, slap him with another charge.

All that said... fucker probably deserved it and won't be missed.

Would you enlighten us what he did, and how he was convicted by a jury somehow before his death. I'm not saying this guy was a saint. I'm saying the cops had a basic duty, and swore an oath to protect human life, and their inaction lead to a preventable death of someone not convicted through due process. You are an idiot if you say his civil rights were not violated. What if a cop randomly arrests you, on a false charge, locks you in a cage, and before your trial, "forgets" to give you food and water for 30 days? Would that violate your civil rights? We may as well just have cops randomly execute people in areas where crimes take place. It might make this site more interesting, but that's not the way America is supposed to be.

Trust me, the cops could not help that guy. It was obvious that neither one of them knew CPR which is pathetic and embarrassing for an officer of the law. But in most states, if you participate in ANY WAY in a crime that results in someone's death, you will be charged with the murder. So this guy should be charged with his own murder.
