My take is that the officer was in denial.

He was too kind hearted and too 'human'.

He gave way way way too many 'chances' to someone that never had any interest in resolving the problems - that he had caused - peacefully.

The cop just didn't want to participate in 'the world' that had presented itself to the officer.


You can be 'too good' a person.
It’s sad he wasn’t about that life

Comments like this are so stupid. If you get a bad doctor it's not " all doctors are incompetent ". Humans are different and vary in every degree. I would say it's pretty obvious he wanted death by cop. From everything he did. Mentally unstable..not showing off how proud to be American he is or whatever dumbshit thoughts you have on it. People are getting fucking dumb.
