That cop's name was Kyle Dinkheller. That was an M1 Carbine and a deranged vet asshat that didn't want to be pulled for speeding. You can read all about it on the internet. The cop was 22 years old, and was concerned about pulling a gun or getting in trouble for overracting and it got him killed. They use this video as a training video to tell new officers to never let someone go back to the car after they have gotten out, and once they have a weapon, it's on. Dinkheller was shot multiple times, and returned fire. Once his weapon was empty he can be heard saying "STOP, STOP shooting me". The last moment the asshat comes around the front, and yells "Motherfucker" and puts one more round through Dinkheller's left eye. He is now in prison.

That's why I told Nottheface to make the choice now, if it comes to themself or the other, if they can live with the choice of taking somebody's life that is trying to kill you, move forward as a lawenforcement official, if not, pick another job. Even if they are trying to kill you first, it's not a pleasant experience to take another's life...............well.........it depends sometimes I guess. It sucks sometimes, and you want to dig the fucker up and shoot them again for making you kill them, and other times you are glad it was them.

There are more reasons to own a gun than to feel big or being a chicken. It's a sport... Not to mention, they are good for self defense. Next time someone breaks into your house and murders loved ones while you just sit back, helpless, let me know... That's the exact reason I have guns in every room, hidden only where I know they are. I've been there... Won't happen again... But I suppose you would just sit back and let it happen, or wait the 20+ minutes for police to arrive while you cower in the corner, no?
