A Crocodile Kills Soccer Player in Costa Rica
J.A.L.O., soccer player of Deportivo Río Cañas of the Liga Ascenso de Costa Rica known as Chucho, died after being attacked by a crocodile in Santa Cruz, in northwestern Costa Rica. The Police reported that "unfortunately the crocodile sank him (in the Cañas River) and it is not known that he drowned or died from the pressure that the animial exerted on the boy." Eyewitnesses of the deadly crocodile attack on the 29-year-old soccer player report that Chucho jumped from a bridge into the waters of the Cañas River. "Neighbors of Santa Cruz told us that the young man was exercising when he decided to take a dip. Then, he jumped from a bridge to the Cañas River," the local police sergeant, Marcelino Hernández, explained to the AFP agency. The local Red Cross reported that the "body was dragged by the crocodile." The body was later recovered by police. |

When police confronted the crocodile and started shooting at it, the croc took a soccer injury dive and feigned injury.

What??  Look at the SIZE of that crocodile!!!! Holy shit, it’s head is the size of the guys entire torso!!!!!  WHY on earth would you swim there!? I don’t know, but I would think that if a person lived where there are big animals in the water that could EAT you, WHY GO IN THE WATER!!! I live in coastal New Hampshire, great whites are making a big comeback here due to seal population growing, do you think I go swimming in the ocean!? I won’t even go in above my knees! Nope. Nope. Nope. NO. |
