I was in vietnam for work doing the time this happen, the traffic was back up for mile. It was in Thu Duc district, 20min from downtown Saigon. This shit happen all the dam time... and the reason why no one help him is because... if you do then you have to cover his medical bill ect... |

I posted this from LiveLink to Reddit, r/morbidreality with the info I gathered from here. A Vietnamese Redditor, Kountzero posted this in the comments. I'm Vietnamese, I can understand the words being say in the video. The title is misleading, OP probably grab the description (with obvious intention to sensationalize the situation) from random place on the internet so it's actually not true. At .35 and :44, you can see a guy attempting to hear what the dying man was trying to tell him, asking his family phone numbers, but the dying man do not wish to tell him. At 2:25, another man say "co biet so khong?" which mean "do you know the number?" then presumably the man with the cell phone say "khong biet, bay gio ong khong, ong noi bay gio ong song lam gi nua" which mean "I don't know, the guy is not telling me, he say he doesn't want to live anymore" at 2:34, another attempt was put forth to ask the dying man if he want to phone home "co so dien thoai khong, toi goi gium cho?" meaning "do you have a phone number, I'll make a phone call for you", but again was met with the man determination not wanting to. starting at 3:04, a woman started talking and kept saying "cau chua gie su di em" until the end of the vids, which mean" pray to Jesus, he will save you" I find this very annoying and the most morbid part of the clip, because she kept telling him to do it, almost yelling at him. at 3:55 he say that's he's going to die anyways, presumable so the woman would stop telling him to pray, but she kept on insisting, and yelling at him to do it. EDIT: I did not use any source since the sound quality is pretty decent and speak for itself in the clip, you can ask any Vietnamese to verify this. |

I'm sure someone had already called their version of 911, I wouldn't have known what else to do. . . I don't think hand-holding would have come to mind. Also, it kind of looked for a moment like he was trying to pick himself up, or put himself back together, which would have freaked me out. Hate to be blunt, but there it is.  |
