Can guarentee that 2 seconds before it hit, he wasn't expecting to die. The missile travels faster than the speed of sound so he wouldn't have heard it coming. And landing to his right, at best he would of caught a micro glimpse in his peripherals but wouldn't have even been able to react. Sort of like when someone pops a ballon behind you when your lazily watching tv, that initial split second fright was all he would of experienced, at best.
