What Marek says is true. A cardiac arrest can just drop someone in their tracks. My best friend died in this way. One minute he was chatting, then he just dropped like a stone. The pathologist later stated that he was probably dead before he hit the ground

if the heart attack is severe enough your heart stopping makes the blood pressure in your brain hit zero which means you are out instantly
