Being able to show the court a history of abuse (which they already had record of due to the injunction), having witnesses that saw the man attacking her and her children, an autopsy will probably reveal recent drug/alcohol use, and if they can verify that she tried to avoid another confrontation by going home first but he waited outside for her... that is a shit load of mitigating circumstances. I don't see a murder conviction here, if they decide to persecute her at all, hopefully they plea her down to something minor.

I recognize that. However, the same can be said for men as well. There have been just as many men brutally murdered by women who claim 'self-defense' for the sole purpose of receiving a lesser sentence for their crimes. The brutal murders of Travis Alexander, Ryan Poston, and Jason Corbett by their so-called 'battered' girlfriends/wives are just a few examples of this.

What I said above in my initial post may seem harsh but there is no way that her actions would have been viewed as justified here in the West. Inflicting that many wounds, most of which, having been inflicted long after the man had been deceased is unnecessary.

Generally speaking, when it comes to proving that one’s actions were indeed in self-defense, certain criteria must be met - Which include but are not limited to the following: 1. The presence of an imminent threat (In this case, the threat has long ceased, yet the woman goes on to inflict the majority of the wounds AFTER this point). 2. Proportionality and 3. Reasonableness - (Due to the number of wounds inflicted and the alleged 'perpetrator' having been deceased for much of them, one cannot logically view this woman's actions as being proportionate nor reasonable.

Every time she stopped stabbing him and started to walk off, she got a flashback of every time she THOUGHT he was done beating her or her children, only to have it happen all over again! She finally decided she wasn't going to make the mistake of thinking he was done! She made sure he was done!! GOOD JOB!

I have no sympathy for the guy, but as for the girl, I have to say I don’t have much either. He was a drug addict and abuser, and yet she stayed with him long enough to let him nut in her multiple times. Or did she really not know about all that stuff BEFORE having multiple children with him?
