Re: Brave Syrian Rebel Takes Out Tank
from further analysis it seems the ordinance struck the car to the right of the tank, from our perspective, and as the smoke clears slightly the affected car is a levelled wreck, revealing a better view of another white vehicle behind it- whereas the tank likely reversed.

Re: Brave Syrian Rebel Takes Out Tank
that was a nice attack on the tank... There were personnel running behind the tank prior to the explosion. I bet some type of explosives were placed to the rear of the tank... The RPG shot was just a tease.. The front of the tank is the strongest part.. The rear is where the money spot is... Just like me, I like to hit it from the back... Hard....

Re: Brave Syrian Rebel Takes Out Tank
The shell clearly bounced off the tank and exploded on/in the white vehicle next to it. The front of that tank has 7 to 11 inches of sloped Armour. Those rpg's wont even scratch it. The RPG-29 can take out that tank from the front but that was not a RPG-29 but an RPG-7 which can't do squat to the front a t-72. Here is a link of one getting hit 3 times in the front and the tank is fine. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c56_1...215&comments=1 |
