Re: Bomb-disposal officer killed, on fire after ied gets detonated by a mobile phone
Grim. Nice to see a quick response from the medical evacuation team instead of a lot of standing around being indecisive, or posing for the camera with the corpses, all smiley faced like you usually see with Thai EMS & clean-up crews.

Haha, first rule! NEVER pour cold water on a burnt victim like the one on video, you will cause the skin to cool down too quick and crack, besides your muscles are too hot and it will cause serious damage to it. It only work on small burns. BTW how lucky is that third guy, 2 steps away makes a lot of difference when it comes to shock wave destructive effects. |

Those guys knew there was an explosive there.. What did they expect to happen??? They know the associated risk with explosives and ordinance disposal. The officer on the left got the worst of it.. burned for a while |

AND these experts were walking around with what looked like walkie talkie radios? No, you don't do that. AND when a bomb did go off, they had fuck all facilities in place, not even an ambulance!! |
