Probably. You don't sometimes know how people, even yourself, will react to a quick event. I pride myself on an unusual degree of cowardice when my direct financial situation isn't involved. Strangely, when a fight broke out in a physical science class I was teaching in my mid 20's, I jumped in and pinned a student on the floor. It could have been an automatic response, this guy might have dived in to save her. That sucks.
