Her name and town of origin were given during the interrogation. I have them in a transcript somewhere, as it is rather difficult to make out audio detail in the video. Other possibly-pertinent facts that would help ID her are lost (for me at least) in the colloquial/slang mode of Spanish being used by the murderers. In any event, I generally keep records of all cases I post and take time to go back and research them for updates during slow news weeks. But in three years' time, I've never encountered any more information about this girl or whether her body was ever recovered. Highly doubtful, though. The chances are high that the men who executed her are already dead themselves and there is a lot of rugged terrain in Mexico that hides a good many unmarked graves. Sorry I don't have more to give you. I always felt pretty shitty for this girl too. |

Any chance you could give me a copy of the transcript? I can speak and read abit of spanish and my GF is a latina so i might be able to shine some light on her. Least we can do for the poor girl. Hope the cowards that did it died blubbering like babies covered in there on shit and piss. |

I suppose that would be fitting, since that's more or less exactly how she went out.  I'll try to run down my copy of the transcript. It doesn't seem to be in the file with this video in my records, so christ knows where it is. But if I can scrounge it up, I'll let you know. |
