Where will it lead to next? Beheading children? Babies? I can't believe the US Government can't go in and stop these madmen. It's out of hand and has been for a long time. Hasn't the US Government got the troops and resources to put an end to all of this? |

Why the fuck would they? The US government will sometimes take an aggressive stance against countries with allegedly despotic governments, but since when do they send invading armies to deal with criminal enterprise? They don't. Never have, really. They sure as shit aren't going to start a guerrilla land war with a criminal syndicate on one of their borders. Especially since they're only just finally pulling out of a very long, unpopular war with different guerrilla elements. These Cartels are taking deliberate measures to NOT kill any US citizens in the course of their enterprise. So long as they continue that way, the US isn't likely to mobilize armed forces. The DEA had a stronger hand in enforcement on the Mexican side of the border during the Calderon administration, but that was all abruptly reversed when his term was up. The fuckers over in Syria are beheading actual innocent babies and little children and the US isn't interfering. Why the hell would the US army give two shits about dead Mexican drug dealers, cooks, and lookouts? |
