At the crossroads near the McDonald's a Mitsubishi L200 SUV crashed into a tram stop.

6 people were killed and two more injured were transported to the local hospital in the Kharkov region.

It was reported by eyewitnesses that at 17:15, the jeep drove at high speed (approx. 100 km/ph) on the tram tracks in the street Yelizarova when it plowed into a tramstop.

The car hit eight people sending them to fly everywhere.
Three people were right under the car.

According to law enforcement officers amongst the victims are 3 women, 2 men and 1 child.
Two victims - a woman who was standing at the tram stop, and the SUV passenger were transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The man who drove the jeep, was detained. He was ordered to conduct a drug testing.

Nurse Valentina Dorobalova said she smelled ethyl alcohol in his breath.

According to preliminary findings, the man was drunk. In addition, the suspect had impaired motor coordination, says the nurse.

More detailed findings of doctors will be ready later on.

The man was arrested by police officers on Article 115 of the Criminal Procedure Code - on suspicion of committing a crime.

Seeing that little kid with his leg torn off and how far he travelled with someone underneath the car has made me incredibly angry. Not sure when a drunk driver became a worse ogre than some sick fuck who cuts somebody's head off because of religion! Get real, people. He made a mistake, he killed some people, shit happens. I'd rather get wiped out quickly, or have my kids wiped out quickly, in a horrible RTA than have my head cut off by some Muslim piece of shit any day! Oh, and for every drunk driver who does this, there are hundreds of thousands who don't! Only 7% of RTAs in the UK were caused by drunk drivers, and only a small percentage of those end up in fatalities. The massive percentage of road deaths are caused by people who have no excuse other than they were driving like cunts!
