A young married woman, 20, suddenly fell unconscious and died moments later during a wedding ceremony in India. Family members immediately rushed her to the hospital but she could not be saved.

According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Deepu R. The incident happened when Deepu came to attend a wedding ceremony at her maternal relatives’ home on Monday night during the ‘Bandoli’ ceremony.

Eyewitnesses accounts said the woman was dancing normally for some time when she suddenly stopped and collapsed to the ground within seconds.

Guests present at the venue could not initially understand what had happened, but panic spread after the woman lost consciousness.

She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Her condition reportedly became critical after preliminary treatment, and she was referred to another hospital, but could not be saved. Preliminary reports suggest a suspected heart attack.

The woman reportedly got married only around four months ago. The incident has left both families in deep shock.
