Re: A-10 Gun Run for Pinned Down Troops (VERY INTENSE)
If I had it mounted on the creek side of my property and aimed it in the woods where the TRESSPASSIN hunters and ORV riders go WITHOUT PERMISSION...I might be OK....cept for it woudl blow up the family cemetery....but they wouldnt care (much anyways)... If there aint no trace of them then I wont get sued ...we keep waiting for some asshole to get kiled on our property and have their family sue US! |

Those are our angels in the sky in Afghanistan. They've helped me and my unit out of a few firefights and they're fucking amazing. You hear the gun "BRRRP BRRRP". I love those guys. It still amazes me that Taliban and Al-Qaeda will fight us with those flying above them. They do got balls, that's for sure. |

Re: A-10 Gun Run for Pinned Down Troops (VERY INTENSE)
I used to play golf next to Westover AFB in Massachusetts, and their squadron of A-10s (who did some great work in the first Gulf War) used to buzz the golfcourse on approaches. All the pilots used that golf course, so they were known to the golfers, and they would often do high speed, low altitude wing waggles and combat approaches over the fairway strips. Unbelievably maneuverable, massive firepower, and they scream as they approach and fly-by with a howling that would set your hair on end. Their slow approaches were just AWESOME. I heard that the only reason they got away with some of the shit, was because the CO of Westover was a member of that very Country Club, and he loved to do the same damn thing.
