Re: Transsexual is Very Happy After His Genital Reconstruction Surgery
Uhhhh, no, they're not happy with what they were born with. That's the whole definition of transgender. Born as the wrong gender, not happy in the body in which you were born.

Good for her! I cannot imagine would it would be like to feel you are in the wrong body. These people are very brave having to deal with some people out there in the world. |

I find Cait more interesting now. I never paid attention to her as a male, but, she always did have a feminine looking face. I am happy for her! |

Re: Transsexual is Very Happy After His Genital Reconstruction Surgery
They really had a lot of gauze up there. The doctor kept pulling more and more out like a magic show. It was like an old Benny Hill routine. I would be curious to see how it healed. I wonder how much that cost?

Re: Transsexual is Very Happy After His Genital Reconstruction Surgery
I thought it was like an afterbirth of the new genitalia, so to speak, and for lack of a better term. I used to watch the transgendered blonde doctor who did sexual reassignment surgery. Most was fogged out on tv, but, she appeared to be very good. She had many satisfied patients. I have heard it runs into a couple of hundred thousand dollars. It may have changed. |

Re: Transsexual is Very Happy After His Genital Reconstruction Surgery
I believe there are actual surgeries on here. In the male to female, the doctor was putting in breast implants as if he was stuffing a turkey. It was awful! You have to realize that any male who would voluntarily give up his penis definitely feels he is a woman. They actually make the vaginal lips out of the penis. They fold them in. As I said, they are very brave to admit to surgery and have to deal with some ignorance from some people. I take people as they present themselves and got exposed as a young teenager at Bowie concerts in the 70s. If people are nice and not molesting babies or animals, and are consenting adults, good for them! I wish them all the best! xx |

Looks like the genitals of a third gender if one were to exist.

Re: Transsexual is Very Happy After His Genital Reconstruction Surgery
I have heard with my own ears, trans people saying that they are fine with the body they were born with. They don't all take hormones and have surgeries. Some are somewhere in between. Their are health issues/risks with the supplements and surgeries. Not all trans people are ok with those risks. For some, it is enough to dress and live as their chosen self, rather than turning to needles, medications and scalpels. Realizing that they are a male brain/female body or female brain/male body and being at peace with it. Not every trans person wants to transition. |

Re: Transsexual is Very Happy After His Genital Reconstruction Surgery
Where do you get off referring to another human being as "it"? Do you have any idea what it's like to suffer with gender dysphoria? Or what it's like to be gay and have people such as yourself hating on you and thinking you're a freak? I'm a young gay male and even though there has been a lot of progress in society there are still people who think of anybody other than themselves as unworthy of mutual respect and humanity. You really need to rethink your position and recognize that everybody has a right to happiness, and that some people are not as lucky as you to be born happy with your gender and heterosexual. Try putting yourself in other people's shoes and try to understand how rough some people have it in their life journey. You can make it so much easier for people if you accept them for who they are, treat them as an equal human being, and respect the fact that we're all different, always have been and always will be.
